Replacement Cooker Hood Charcoal Filter Set

There is now a proportion of re-circulating cooker hoods fitted with a cartridge full of activated charcoal granules.

These cartridges usually need replacing every six months. They can be both difficult to source and expensive. This pack contains a cut to size sheet of 'pockets' filled with activated charcoal granules which will eliminate the need for a replacement cartridge. This sheet will fit behind the grease filters in the hood.

Also included are two grease filters - these may not be required if your hood as metal mesh grease filters. To degrease mesh grease filters use Oven Mate Mesh Cooker Hood Filter Cleaner.

Activated charcoal filter is self-extinguishing and absorbs cooking odours. High charcoal content approx. 350-400g.

Charcoal filter should last 12 months. Cut to size. Each measures approx. 57 x 47cm (22 x 18.5in)

Replacement Cooker Hood Charcoal and Grease Filters - Usage Instructions

Usage Instructions:

Suitable for most standard 60cm cooker hoods. Flame retardant to British Standards (DIN 53438 Class F1).

The Grease Filters are made from natural rayon and cellulose fibres which absorb 80% of fat according to the DIN Norm while the polyester non-woven cheaper alternative filters have only a fraction of that property.

After some time of use the saturation indicator stripes turn from grey into red and 'bleed through' the filter, becoming visible. Now the filter has to be replaced with a new one.
