Deville Fireside Chimney and Flue Cleaner - Usage Instructions Deville Fireside Chimney and Flue Cleaner - Usage Instructions: 1. Remove excess ash and cinders. 2. Ensure damper and air vents are closed. 3. Sprinkle approx 50g of Deville Fireside Chimney and Flue Cleaner on to a low fire twice a week (high roaring fire lowers effectiveness). 4. If no evidence of improvement, increase dosage to three times per week. 5. Use double dosage of Deville Fireside Chimney and Flue Cleaner for fires over 75000BTU, in wood / soild cookers / boilers or if chimney area is abnormally large. Note: Loosened creosote can cause chimney blockage if initial deposits are heavy or if initial dosage or dosage frequency is excessive. Some settlement of contents may occur during transit.
