Sealant Strip-Out Tool

This unique Sealant Strip-Out Tool provides a remarkably easy method of removing all types of sealant from any 90º angled joint. Works on all types of flexible sealant such as Silicone, Acrylic, Oil Based Mastic and Polyurethane in just about any application, around baths, showers, basins, worktops, windows, door frames etc.

The patented design of the Sealant Strip-Out Tool works by gouging out the sealant from the bottom of the joint whilst simultaneously stripping it from both surfaces, leaving the area ready for final cleaning with HG Silicon Seal Remover and re-sealing.

The Sealant Strip-Out Tool was a Silver Award Winner for Hand Tools at the DIY Show 2006.

Sealant Strip-Out Tool - Usage Instructions

Directions for Use:

Start at one end and push the Sealant Strip-Out Tool into body of sealant until the gouging piece is at the bottom of the joint and both scrapers are flat with the surfaces.

Working away from yourself simply push the Sealant Strip-Out Tool along the joint to remove sealant.

Once the majority of the sealant has been removed use HG Silicon Seal Remover to complete the job.
