Tableau Silver Cleaning Plate - Usage Instructions Usage Instructions: 1. Place the Tableau Silver Cleaning Plate in a bowl that is not made of aluminium. 2. Fill the bowl with hot water to completely immerse the items to be cleaned. 3. Add one dessert spoon of household soda crystals for every litre of hot water used and ensure that all the crystals dissolve. 4. Place the items to be cleaned in the bowl, so they are touching the Tableau Silver Cleaning Plate either directly or indirectly via another item. 5. Leave for 4 to 5 minutes during which time tarnish and dirt will be removed. 6. Use a soft cloth or brush if necessary to remove stubborn stains and encrusted polish. 7. After cleaning wash items in soapy water,rinse and then dry thoroughly. 8. Use the Tableau Silver Cleaning Cloth to provide a finishing polish to your silver and silver plate. To replace worn silver plate with a new layer of pure silver use Tableau Silver Polish and Plating Solution. Please Note: - Do not use on pearls, opals, soft stones, paste stones or jewellery that has glued rather than set stones - Do not leave items in 'soak' for longer than the specified 4 to 5 minutes as this can cause the surface to darken. Should this happen wash the items in soapy water and use the Tableau Silver Cleaning Plate again. - Do not use Tableau Silver Cleaning Plate in items that have been oxidised to create an antique appearance as the oxidisation will be removed.
