Grouts are porous and, as a result, they easily absorb grease, dirt and limescale. Spillages such as wine, lemonades or greasy substances will cause marks and patches in the joints in the floor. Grouts between wall-tiles, particularly in damp areas like bathrooms, will become dirty and unattractive as a result of mould and limescale. Equally when such areas are being cleaned, the cleaning water (containing dirt originating from the wall or the floor) will gradually be deposited on the joints between the tiles. The grouts will become dirty and difficult to clean. The solution for this problem is: HG Super Protector for Wall and Floor Grout. A simple job with extremely satifactory results. The grouts should be clean and dry prior to treatment with HG Super Protector For Wall and Floor Grout. For this reason, first clean the grouts thoroughly, using HG Grout Cleaner for bathroom grout clean with HG Hagesan Blue. HG Hagesan Super Protector For Wall and Floor Grout - Instructions Directions for use: The grouts should be clean and dry prior to treatment with HG Super Protector For Wall and Floor Grout. For this reason, first clean the grouts thoroughly, using HG Grout Cleaner for bathroom grout clean with HG Hagesan Blue. After cleaning, rinse all joints well with clean water and allow 24 hours for the area to dry. Sufficient time should be allowed for new grouts to dry and to harden completely. Floor grout in bathrooms, kitchens and, also, intensively used floors (entrances / halls) etc.: Apply HG Super Protector For Wall and Floor Grout using the supplied pipette. Use 1-2 ml of liquid per running metre of the joint (of 0.5cm width). Wall grout in bathrooms and kitchens etc.: Apply the HG Super Protector For Wall and Floor Grout to the joints, using a small brush and allow to dry for 1 hour. Then the treatment should be repeated, so obtaining optimal protection. HG Super Protector For Wall and Floor Grout must penetrate into the joint within 5 minutes. Remove any surplus using a clean cloth. After 36 to 48 hours, the treated surface can be cleaned in the normal manner. For floor joints, the floor can be used after approx. 3 hours. Floors in showers can be used after approximately 8 hours. Coverage: 250 ml per 30-40 m² of tiled surface area (based on tiles measuring 30 x 30 cm, and a grout width of 0.5 cm). Attention: Please always follow the instructions. HG Super Protector For Wall and Floor Grout is a transparent fluid that may colour the joints a little lighter or darker , depending on the composition of the joint mortar. When in doubt, we recommend that you first try the product on a location out of sight. Do not use too much HG Super Protector For Wall and Floor Grout as it may colour the joints yellow. Tip: When applying HG Super Protector For Wall and Floor Grout by brush, choose a brush of similar width to the grout joints.
