Yokuu is a Belgian brand founded in 2020 by bio-engineer Joris Jansen, inspired by his research revealing that a healthy indoor microbiome can reduce allergies in children. He discovered that nature’s own micro-organisms clean effectively through enzymatic processes leading him to question the widespread use of harsh chemicals. This insight sparked the creation of Yokuu, a brand on a mission to harness the power of microbes to make everyday life healthier, more sustainable, and simpler.
