This Heavy Duty Floor Varnish from Polyvine is an ultra-hard, high-quality varnish with a satin finish. Specially formulated for interior floors, it dries in minutes to a crystal-clear film and cures in 16 hours. With excellent sanding properties, you can achieve a very high-quality finish.

Polyvine Heavy Duty Interior Floor Varnish Satin Finish 1L Usage Instructions

Application: Remove all traces of old finishes, dirt, oil, wax and grease. These may have impregnated the surface and can cause failure. Sand in the direction of the grain to provide a key. Thoroughly clean after sanding. Ensure the product is well mixed but DO NOT shake. Apply 2-3 coats of varnish, with a synthetic brush. On new softwood and porous surfaces dilute the first coat 10% with water. Lightly sand wood in between applications to remove any raising of the grain.

• Coverage: 10-20m² per litre, 100-200 sq ft per quart.
• Drying time: 30-60 minutes
• Recoat time: 1-2 hours
• Cure time: 16 hours in ideal conditions. Allow 48 hours before heavy use eg. furniture dragging, and several days before covering with carpet.
