Bonda Rust Primer is a treatment for rust that leaves a surface to paint. Bonda Rust Primer is a resin based zinc anti-rust coating. It forms a tough skin with a bonded in anti-rust system for a long term action. It has excellent adhesion to most metals and leaves a primed surface ready to paint with all types of paint.

Type: Modified alkyd resin with anti-corrosive additives
Intended Use:
An anti-rust primer that is used to stop further corrosion and allow a paintable surface after drying, on most metals, including automotive use.
Special Features:
Low viscosity material that can be used in a spray gun without thinning and high penetration for superior corrosion protection
Coverage: 7m² per litre

Bonda Rust Primer Usage Instructions

Preparation: Expose the rusted area fully, to effectively tackle the corrosion from spreading further and remove any oils or grease from the area. Repair any dents, holes before application.
Application: Can be applied with a brush, roller or spray gun. The material does not need the use of thinners, due to its low viscosity, use cellulose thinners to thin product.
Coats: 2 coats maximum
Drying Time: 4 hours
Re-coating Time: The second coat can be applied straight after the first coat is touch dry
Application Temp. Can be applied in poor weather conditions, high humidity and temperatures down to 0°C
Compatibility: Compatible under most synthetic, household, cellulose, enamel, oil-based, and two component paints, but check suitability before use.
Settlement: Stir well before use for any possibility of settlement
