    Abbey 1982 Leatherbalm 400ml

Abbey 1982 Leatherbalm has been developed from a recipe going back to 1882, Abbey Leatherbalm puts back into the leather all the goodness taken out by the weather and rigours of use. Abbey 1982 leatherbalm can be used straight out of the pot but for best results, it should be applied when melted. It is also excellent for boots, bridles, luggage, gun cases and all working leathers.

  • How to use

    Abbey 1982 Leatherbalm Usage Instructions

    1. The leathers should be damp-sponged, or if necessary, cleaned with a good quality Saddle Soap.
    2.
Then when still moist, Abbey 1982 Leatherbalm should be applied evenly with a cloth or brush to both the flesh and grain surfaces.
    3.
Moistening the leather surface ensures that the lubricating components are carried to the inner fibres of the leather.
    4.
After leaving the saddle in a cool place for 8-12 hours (overnight), the grain surface can be brushed up to a high gloss with a dry cloth or stiff brush.
