Bartoline Turpentine Substitute is a multi-purpose hydrocarbon solvent primarily used for cleaning paint spills and paint brushes and general DIY cleaning purposes. It is a petroleum-derived, or “mineral spirits” alternative to natural turpentine. It is not recommended for thinning oil-based paints because it can affect the paint’s drying time.
