Briwax Wax Polish Antique Brown Usage Instructions

• Preparation: The surface must be clean and dry. Briwax Original Polish can be used on previously waxed surfaces. For best results initially clean the surface with Briwax Wax Polish Remover.
• Intended Use: Provides a natural sheen to sealed wood. Used for restoration of antique furniture. Always check compatibility with antique furniture and pre-finished furniture.
• Application: Apply to the surface with a soft lint free cloth or 0000 Briwax Steel Wool working with the grain. Once dry, buff with lint free cotton cloth to achieve the desired finish.
• Coats: One coat is usually sufficient but a second coat may be applied to obtain a higher sheen.
• Drying Time: Quick drying.
• Re-coating Time: Re-apply if required after a few minutes.
• Application Temp: Ideally 15-25° C
• Maintenance: Re-apply when necessary.
• Compatibility: Compatible with all types of timber finishes. For best results and to prevent a blotchy appearance timber should always be previously sealed with a varnish, oil or Briwax Shellac Sanding Sealer. The product is not designed for use in areas where it will come into contact with water.
• Clean-Up: Hands and application cloth can be cleaned in warm soapy water.
