Heldite Jointing Compound H2OK For Potable Water 250ml
Heldite Jointing Compound H2OK For Potable Water is a silicone-based jointing compound that does not support microbiological growth and is compatible with most metals, plastics and rubber. Designed to seal bolted, flanged or screwed pipe joints to prevent leakage in most engineering situations and plumbing systems delivering hot and cold potable water and low pressure steam.
Non-toxic and environmentally friendly that meets the requirements of the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS). Tests of effect on Water Quality, BS 6920:2014: Parts 1 – 3 / hot (up to 85°C) and cold water.

How to use
Heldite Jointing Compound H2OK For Potable Water Usage Instructions
Preparation: All joints must be completely clean, dry and free from any cleansing agents or loose material prior to application.
Application: Apply with a putty knife.
Coats: For screwed joints apply one coat around cleaned mating thread, remove excess material and screw up immediately.
Drying Time: Not applicable.
Re-coating Time: As required immediately.
Application Temp: Ideally 15 – 25°C
Compatibility: Compatible with most metals, plastics and rubber.
Settlement: Stir well before use.
Clean-Up: Clean equipment and brushes with white spirit.
