HG Vinyl Protector Product 77 is a unique and easy to apply polymer emulsion. After drying, this liquid emulsion forms a shiny, extremely thin but strong protective film. It protects synthetic flooring such as vinyl, linoleum, marmoleum, PVC and resin floors against wear, scratching and other damage. This protective film for synthetic flooring also masks existing worn areas and provides an anti-slip effect.
Before applying clean the floor thoroughly and remove any old coats of wax or polish. Use HG Vinyl Cleaner Extra Strong Product 79. For general maintenance we recommend HG Vinyl Cleaner Shine Restorer Product 78.
Coverage: Approximately 40 m² per litre per coat. As two coats are recommended 1 litre is sufficient for 20 m².

Before applying clean the floor thoroughly and remove any old coats of wax or polish. HG Vinyl Cleaner Extra Strong is best used for this purpose. The floor should then be rinsed well and allowed to dry. Preferably apply with a wax applicator for even application. It is also possible to use a lint free cloth or clean tea towel wrapped around a squeegee. Pour the liquid undiluted over the floor and then apply evenly in one direction without putting pressure on the wax applicator or squeegee. After approximately 60 minutes, the first coat will have dried and the second coat can then applied over it at right angles to the first layer.
The protective coat can be walked on after approximately 1-2 hours and will be fully hardened in 3 days.
Maintenance: Use plain cold or warm water to clean spills and stains. For general maintenance we recommend one cup (100ml) of HG Vinyl Cleaner Shine Restorer in a bucket of water. To remove the gloss coating, use HG Vinyl Cleaner Extra Strong.
Attention: To prevent foam, do not shake the bottle before use. If this product is used on a click-system floor, check first whether the interlayer is 100% synthetic. If it is not, do not use this product because the interlayer could start to swell. This product cannot be used on click flooring systems and should not be used in rooms that may be damp such as bathrooms.
TIP: When necessary in walkways where the protective film is more liable to wear, a new protective film can be quickly and easily applied over the existing film. In such cases first clean the floor using HG Vinyl Cleaner Extra Strong. Then dissolve 50ml (half a cup) of HG Vinyl Protector in half a bucket (5 Litre) of lukewarm water and use these to clean the patches to be restored.
