SupaDec Zinc Galvanising Spray 400ml Usage Instructions

1. Always spray a test area to ensure compatibility. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, free of grease, sanded and primed where appropriate. Several thin coats are better than one heavy coat.
2. Mask the surrounding area.
3. Shake well for 1 minute listening for the rattle of the mixing ball. For best results: Spray at 15 – 26 C.
4. Hold the can 250-300mm from the surface while spraying and move the can from side to side, holding the can parallel to the surface. If paint runs, you are spraying too closely or too heavily in one place.
5. Touch dry in 20-30 minutes, thoroughly dry in 24 hours.
6. Special precautions should be taken in the preparation of pre-1960s surfaces as they may contain harmful lead.
7. To stop clogging before and after use, turn the can upside down and press the nozzle for 3 seconds.
8. To clean the nozzle, remove it from the can and insert a pin into the nozzle head. Do not insert any object into the valve or the can opening.
