  Everbuild Purimachos XL Fire Cement 500g

  Everbuild Purimachos XL Fire Cement is a ready mixed blend of thermosetting resins and inorganic fillers that cures when exposed to heat, resulting in mortar which is resistant to temperatures up to 1250° C. Can be used for domestic and commercial applications on fire bricks, fire grates, flue pipes, flue bricks, boilers and other applications subject to extreme heat. Offers excellent adhesion to fire bricks, blockwork, stone and clayware. Asbestos free.

• How to use

  Everbuild Purimachos XL Fire Cement Usage Instructions

  Preparation:
  For maximum adhesion, remove all dust, dirt and rust and make sure the area is thoroughly clean.

  Application:
  All surfaces must be clean and free from dust and loose particles. Dampen surfaces to improve adhesion. Use straight from the tub without mixing, applying with a trowel. Ensure cement is pressed well into any gaps or cracks. After applying, light fire or apply heat, gradually increasing the heat over a 4 hour period.
  After curing, any fine cracks that appear in the cement should be filled with fire cement to ensure a smoke tight finish.
  Clean tools with warm water and soap immediately after use.
