HG Natural Stone Impregnating Protector 1 Litre Product 32

This HG Natural Stone Impregnating Protector is used to impregnate porous marble, travertine, terrazzo, granite, slate, sandstone, limestone and other natural stone floors and walls to protect against stains and stubborn marks. Suitable for concrete tiles with pieces of natural stone incorporated such as marble composites. For terracotta tiles, brick, quarry tiles, victorian tiles, flagstones, and un-glazed (porcelain or ceramic) tiles we recommend HG Tile Impregnating Protector (HGP13)<border=”0″> which has larger molecules and it is therefore slightly thicker making it more suitable for more porous materials.

To check the porosity of a surface to see if treatment is required: use a tablespoon of water. If after 5-10 minutes none of the water has been absorbed into the surface the surface is sealed.

HG Natural Stone Impregnating Protector penetrates deep into the surface and completely seals off small pores. Larger pores are made smaller meaning liquid molecules can no longer be absorbed preventing the formation of stains and dirt. However, any dampness in the floor can still evaporate. HG Natural Stone Impregnating Protector still allows the stone to breathe. Does not change (or hardly changes) the original characteristics of the material. Leaves a matt finish that enhances natural colours, and does not contain silicone. It is suitable for inside and outside use.

Coverage: Highly porous natural stone: 10-20 m² per litre. Slightly porous and high gloss natural stone 20-50 m² per litre.
