  Liberon Liming Bronze Brush

  The Liberon Liming Bronze Brush is made from long lasting bronze bristles, which make it ideal for opening the grain of hard wood before liming. Shaped so that it is comfortable to hold and use it is suitable for cleaning heavy carvings, mouldings and stone. Ideal for using with Liberon Liming Wax.

• How to use

  Liberon Liming Bronze Brush Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure the surface is bare and free from dust. Brush hard to open the grain of the wood. This step will dramatically improve the liming effect, especially on hard woods.
  2. If you wish to enhance the effect, colour the wood prior to applying the liming wax. A bright colour is an alternative to a wood shade. A darl / strong colour will increase the contrast.
  3. On a dry and clean surface, work the liming wax into the grain with Liberon Extra Fine Steel Wool 0000. Allow 3 minutes to dry.
  4. Remove the excess using Black Bison Wax neutral on a cotton cloth, or for a waterproof finish in humid areas, Liberon Finishing Oil.
  5. If using a wax, buff with a Liberon Furniture Brush for a softer finish.
