  Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish Dead Flat Finish Clear is a unique traditional wax-like, brush on, protective varnish, for a high performance non reflective finish. Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish combines the silky feel of wax with the durability of a varnish. Reminiscent of the traditional feel of lovingly preserved furniture. Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish retains the natural appearance of the wood.

• How to use

  Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish Dead Flat Finish Usage instructions

  Preparation: All surfaces must be clean and free from dust, dirt, oil and contamination. Remove all traces of old finishes, dirt, oil, wax and grease. They may have impregnated the surface and can cause failure.

  Application: Sand in the direction of the grain to provide a key. Thoroughly clean after sanding.

  Ensure the product is well mixed but do not shake (inverting the container several times allows the particles distribute evenly throughout the varnish) creating a uniform solution.

  Apply sparingly, brush out well using a good quality brush, following the direction of the grain. Do not apply pressure as this will generate air bubbles. Thinly apply 2-3 coats. Lightly sand the wood in between coats to remove any raising of the grain.

  Caution:
  Always apply to a test area before starting work.
  Appearance may vary according to the colour and type of wood and the number of coats.
  Protect the finish from water and steam for five days after application.

  Storage: Protect from extremes of temperature during storage and application.
