Rustins Advanced Wood Preserver Medium Brown 5 Litre
Rustins Advanced Wood Preserver Medium Brown is a low odour, non-flammable product based on micro-emulsion nanotechnology. The ultra-fine particle size allows deep penetration of the preserver to take place so the performance of the product is much greater than standard wood preservation products. It is quick drying and can be applied to wet or dry timbers.
Type: Medium Brown Wood Preserver.
Intended Use: For the treatment of bare wood to protect against rot, fungi and wood boring insects.
Special Features: Finely dispersed ingredients giving better wood penetration and hence effectiveness compared with standard wood preservation products. Ready to use – do not dilute. For outdoor applications the Clear Preserver needs to be over coated with an outdoor varnish or oil.
Coverage: 3 – 4m² per Litre per Coat, depending on absorbency of the surface.

How to use
Rustins Advanced Wood Preserver Medium Brown Usage Instructions
Preparation: Ensure that timber surfaces are clean and free from previous coatings, grease and contaminants. Surfaces may be damp but the preserver should not be applied to decayed wood which should be replaced.
Application: Shake well and stir before use. Apply by brush or coarse spray. For outdoor applications the Clear Preserver needs to be over coated with an outdoor varnish or oil.
Coats: Apply a minimum of 2 coats.
Drying Time: Between 10 – 15 minutes depending on temperature and humidity.
Re-coating Time: It is important that the second application is applied before the first is dry.
Application Temp: Ideally 15 – 25°C. Do not apply below 10°C.
Maintenance: Re-apply periodically.
Compatibility: Not compatible with previous coatings, grease and contaminants.
Settlement: Shake well and stir before use or colour obtained will not be correct.
Clean-Up: Clean equipment with water.

Shelf-life/Storage: Store in a cool dry place with the lid tightly closed. Use within 2 years of manufacture.
Hazards: Very toxic to aquatic organisms. May cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Keep out of reach of children. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. Wear protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.
