Rustins Graffiti Remover Spray Instructions

Use appropriate personal protection including gloves and eye protection.

1. Shake tin well and remove cap carefully holding the tin away from face.
2. Spray on a liberal coat and leave until paint begins to soften or blister, usually for 5 to 10 minutes, and test with a stripping knife or scraper. 
3. Apply a second liberal coat and ensure that this is worked into the blisters or softened paint.
4. Leave for further 35 to 40 minutes.
5. Remove the blistered, softened paint with a stripping knife or scraper.
6. If any paint or varnish remains, repeat the process.

Use steel wool to remove paint from curved surfaces. Wash down the surface thoroughly with water and allow to dry completely.
On wood, white spirit can be used to wash down to avoid raising the grain.
On old paint or very heavy applications it can be left on longer to maximise penetration.
The rate of coverage is approximately 5m² per litre.

NOTE: Not suitable on fibreglass, rubber and some plastics.

Clean Up: Some local authorities have special facilities for disposal of waste paints/varnishes /coatings. Do not empty product into drains or watercourses. Clean brushes with warm soapy water.
Store in a cool dry place with lid tightly closed away from sources of ignition. Protect from frost.
