Rustins Grainfiller Oak Usage Instructions

Intended Use: To fill the grain of all types of wood.
Preparation: Wood that is to be filled should be cleaned with White Spirit and fine wire wool to ensure that it is free from grease and wax.
Application: Thin with White Spirit to a thin cream consistency and rub hard across the surface of the wood with a piece of coarse cloth. After a short while, remove the surplus filler with a cloth. It is important that no residue is left on the surface, as it would set very hard and could only be removed by sanding.
Compatibility: Rustins Grain Filler is compatible with all types of finishes. Rustins Wood Dyes may be used to thin the filler instead of white spirit, so that staining and filling can be carried out in one operation.
Clean-Up All equipment must be cleaned whilst wet with White Spirit.
Coats: One application is usually sufficient.
Drying Time: 5-6 hours
Re-coating: Time Leave for 12 hours before cutting back with fine sand paper.
Application Temp. Use in a warm, dry atmosphere, ideally 15- 25 °C

Shelf-life/Storage: The shelf life of the product in an airtight container is a very long period of time. It is preferable to store the product in a cool place. It is important to replace the lid and ensure an airtight seal.
Hazards: Highly Flammable. Harmful by inhalation, in contact with skin and if swallowed. Keep out of reach of children. Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from sources of ignition-No smoking. Do not breathe vapour. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately, (show the label where possible).
