Description
Rustins Quick Dry Aluminium Paint 500ml
Rustins Aluminium Paint is suitable for both interior and exterior use. Touch dry in 2 hours. Can be applied to bare wood and metal or over primers. Water based and quick drying. Heat resistant up to 105°C

How to use
Rustins Quick Dry Aluminium Paint Usage Instructions
Preparation: Surface should clean and free from grease and wax. If the metal is rusty, remove loose rust with a wire brush and treat with Rustins Rust Remover.
Application: Apply evenly with a synthetic bristle brush.
Coats: Two coats may be sufficient but three coats are recommended for exterior surface.
Drying Time: Touch dry in 30 minutes.
Re-coating Time: Can be recoated after 2 hours depending on temperature and humidity.
Application Temp: Ideally 10-25 °C. Do not use in conditions of high humidity and very low temperature.
Maintenance: Clean surfaces with a mild detergent solution. Worn areas may be re-coated once cleaned and lightly sanded to provide a key.
Compatibility: Not suitable for use on wood burning stoves or on surfaces which are in direct contact with a naked flame. If being used on metal surfaces for decorative purposes only, the metal can be applied with Rustins Red Oxide Primer before coating.
Settlement: Stir thoroughly before use.
Clean-Up: Use water whilst still wet. If dried on, clean equipment and brushes with Rustins Brush Restorer.
