Rustins Quick Dry Heat Resistant Black Paint is a high quality water-borne, cross-linking acrylic resin. It is a low VOC paint for use on metal and wood and on both exterior and interior surfaces. (NOT FOR USE ON WOOD BURNING STOVES)
Intended Use: For use on metal and wood for interior and exterior applications. Not for use on wood burning stoves. Type: A dense black matt paint based on water borne self cross-linking acrylic resin.Special Features: Heat resistant to 220°C. Quick drying. Excellent covering power.

How to use
Rustins Quick Dry Heat Resistant Black Paint Usage Instructions
Intended Use: For use on metal and wood for interior and exterior applications. Not for use on wood burning stoves.
Preparation: Surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free from wax, grease and contaminants. Remove any flaking paint with Rustins Strypit Paint and Varnish Stripper. Remove rust with Rustins Rust Remover and then apply Rustins Red Oxide Primer. If applying to bare wood then apply Rustins Quick Dry Primer and Undercoat.
Application: Stir before use. Apply liberally and evenly with synthetic fibre brush or roller.
Coats: 1 or 2 coats depending on requirements.Drying Time: Touch dry within 30 minutes, depending upon temperature and humidity.Re-coating Time: 2 hours minimum, depending upon temperature and humidity.
Application Temp. Ideally 15-25°C. Do not use below 10°C, or in conditions of high humidity.
Maintenance: Clean painted surfaces with a mild detergent solution.
Compatibility: May be applied over solvent and acrylic paint.
Settlement: STIR WELL BEFORE USE. Ensure any sediment is thoroughly mixed in.
Clean-Up: Clean brushes and hands immediately after use with water. If dried on, clean equipment and brushes with either Rustin’s Brush Restorer or Rustins Strypit Paint and Varnish Stripper.

Shelf-life/Storage Many years if stored in original tightly closed container in normal conditions. Do not store below 5°C. Protect from frost.
Hazards Non-flammable. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water or a proprietary skin cleanser. Keep out of reach of children.
