    Rustins Quick Dry Step and Tile Gloss Paint Black 250ml

    Rustins Quick Dry Step and Tile Gloss Paint Black is a quick drying high performance interior and exterior paint for use on tiles, concrete and bricks. Not for use on glazed or quarry tiles.

    Intended Use For tiles, concrete and bricks. Not for use on glazed or quarry tiles.

    Type: A gloss acrylic based paint.

    Special Features Quick drying and contains micronised special black pigment for good  opacity.

    Coverage 14m² per litre, per coat, depending on the absorbency of the surface.

  • How to use

    Rustins Quick Dry Step and Tile Gloss Paint Black Usage Instructions

    Preparation:The surface must be clean, smooth, sound, dry, free from wax, dust and contaminants. Any wax polish previously applied can be removed with white spirit, steel wool and a clean rag. Existing paint, not being removed should be sanded to provide a key and cleaned with white spirit or detergent.
    Application: Use a good quality brush and apply evenly.
    Coats: 2 coats are usually sufficient. Sand lightly between coats if required.
    Drying Time: 30 minutes depending on temperature and humidity. Do not apply outdoors if rain imminent.
    Re-coating Time: Allow 4 hours between coats or overnight, depending on temperature and humidity.
    Application Temp: Ideally 15-25°C. Do not use below 10°C, or in conditions of high humidity or if rain imminent.
    Maintenance: Re-apply when surface becomes worn. The surface to be coated should be cleaned with a  mild detergent solution or white spirit and lightly sanded to provide a key.
    Compatibility: Can be applied over most paints but test for compatibility before applying.
    Settlement: STIR WELL BEFORE USE.
    Clean-Up: Remove excess product from brushes and then clean with water. Hard brushes can be cleaned with Rustin’s Brush Restorer.

    Shelf-life/Storage Many years if stored in original, tightly closed container, in normal conditions.
    Hazards: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water.
