Wykamol EP40 Epoxy Floor Coating Grey 5 Litre
Wykamol No More Damp EP40 Epoxy Floor Coating Grey is a water based floor coating. This easy to apply resin system has excellent adhesion with concrete and wood, providing attractive, hard wearing and dust-free finish. Floors become easier to clean and highly resistant to damage from fork-lift trucks, chemical, fuels and lubricants.
EP40 is supplied in 2 tins – a base and a hardener – which are mixed together to form a complete product. No More Damp EP40 Grey is suitable for use in most industrial and domestic environments. Wykamol EP40 Epoxy Floor Coating Primer Clear is recommended for sealing concrete, or for use as a primer prior to an application of EP40. A primer is necessary for porous surfaces, high build and anti-slip finishes.

How to use
Wykamol EP40 Epoxy Floor Coating Usage Instructions
Preparation: All surfaces to be coated with any grade of Wykamol Epoxy Floor Coating EP40 should be dry, clean and free from laitance, oil,grease or other contaminants. Ideally concrete surfaces should be vacuum shot blasted or mechanically abraded to both clean and open the surface to provide a good mechanical key.
Please Note: Following sufficient substrate preparation Wykamol EP40 Epoxy Floor Coating Primer Clear should always be applied prior to the application of either the Grey or clear finish coat.
The separate base and hardener components must be thoroughly mixed together before application.
Application:  One or two coats can be applied with a roller or brush. Slip resistance can be achieved by specifying a three coat system.
The first coat being followed by one coat of Wykamol Epoxy Floor Coating EP40 lightly scattered with anti-slip aggregates whilst still wet, at a rate of 50/100 gms per m².  When dry a second should be applied.
Maintenance:  Wykamol Epoxy Floor Coating EP40 can be cleaned with water, or with good quality detergent or just brushed out. EP40 coated floors should not be subject to hot water above 60^oC or steam cleaning.
Wykamol Epoxy Floor Coating EP40 products are formulated from materials,which are designed to achieve the highest levels of performance as safely as possible. However specific components require proper handling and suitable equipment. This information is given in the relevant safety data sheets. In all cases spillage’s or skin contamination should be cleared as soon as possible by dry wiping the affected area and then thoroughly washing with soap and water.
