DeVille Fireside Stove and Coal Paint Spray 400ml

DeVille Fireside Stove and Coal Paint Spray is a non-clogging, ultra-high temperature, corrosion resistant finish specially formulated for use on wood, multi fuel stoves, coal or log effect gas fires, grates, baskets, fire backs, barbecues, pipes, flues etc. Heat resistant to 1250° F (675° C).

DeVille Fireside Stove and Coal Paint Spray Usage Instructions

For best results it is recommended that painting is performed outdoors or in a well ventialted garage or shed away from items that can be affected bypaint drift. To prevent inhalation, wear a suitable mask.

1. Ensure the surface to be treated is cool and the fire is out.
2. Remove all rust, scale and dirt with abrasive paper or wire brush.
3. Degrease and check the surface is dry before painting.
4. Mask area not to be painted. If painting is to be performed in situ, carefully mask off any areas that do not require painting, cover all soft furnishings and ventilate the room. Leave protective covers down for at least one hour after painting.
5. Before spraying, shake can vigorously for one minute and again between bursts.
6. Spray thinly and evenly over surface. Two thin coats are better than one thick coat.
7. After use, invert the can and spray for a few seconds to clear the nozzle.
8. Allow 2-3 hours between coats. Allow 24 hours before using near a fire.
