Rustins Quick Dry Radiator Enamel Satin White is heat resistant, low odour water based and touch dry in 30 minutes.

Rustins Quick Dry Radiator Enamel Satin White is heat resistant, low odour water based and touch dry in 30 minutes. Also ideal for touching up fridges and white appliances. Not to be used on oil filled electric radiators.

Intended Use: For domestic hot water radiators. Not suitable for electric oil-filled radiators (max temp 90°C).

Type: Formulated with a special non-yellowing, acrylic emulsion and high quality white pigment (titanium dioxide) to produce a brilliant white finish that will not yellow on hot radiators.
Special Features: Non-yellowing. Quick drying. Low odour. Clean brushes in water. May also be used on wood as a topcoat and as a touch-up on white equipment such as refrigerators but not for use on stoves.

Coverage Approximately 14m² per Litre per coat.

Preparation The surface must be clean, smooth, sound, dry, free from wax, dust and contaminants. If the radiator is new and factory primed, apply 1 coat of Rustins White Oil-based Undercoat before applying the radiator paint. Radiators stripped to bare metal should be given one coat of Rustin’s Red Oxide Metal Primer and one coat of oil based white undercoat or Rustin’s Quick Dry White Primer/Undercoat. If oil based undercoat is used leave for 24 hours
Application Stir well before use. Allow radiators to cool before painting. Apply liberally and evenly with a synthetic fibre brush. Radiators can be used between coats if necessary. Leave to dry for 2 hours before turning on radiator.
Coats 1 or 2 coats as required.
Drying Time Touch dry within 30 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity.
Re-coating Time Allow 4 hours between coats, depending on temperature and humidity.
Application Temp. Ideally 15-25°C. Do not use below 10°C or in conditions of high humidity.
Maintenance Clean painted surfaces with a mild detergent solution.
Compatibility Can be applied over Rustin’s Quick Drying Primer & Undercoat and Rustin’s White Undercoat. 
Settlement STIR WELL BEFORE USE. Satin finishes may dry glossy if not stirred thoroughly.
Clean-Up Clean brushes and hands immediately after use with water. If dried on, clean equipment and brushes with Rustin’s Brush Restorer.
