Rustins Quick Dry Timberlife Dark Oak 1 Litre

Rustins Quick Dry Timberlife Dark Oak protects and adds life to garden timber. For new or weathered sheds and fences. Highly water repellent and resistant to fading. It is also harmless to pets and plants. Available in Light, Medium, Dark Oak, Mahogany, Teak and Walnut. Clean brushes in water.

Intended Use: Exterior garden furniture, fences, sheds, trellis work For both new or previously treated.
Type: Rustins Timberlife is a quick drying, high quality acrylic decorative finish. It contains fungicides to preserve the film and waxes to give long lasting protection from rot and mould.   Attractive wood shades are achieved with special pigments, which resist UV light and fading.
Special Features: Protects timber for up to 5 years. Low odour. Clean brushes in water. Water repellent once dry. Harmless to pets and plants. Resistant to fading. Greater coverage than creosote. Quick drying.

Coverage: 6-12m² per Litre, per coat, depending on the absorbency of the wood.

Rustins Quick Dry Timberlife Dark Oak Usage Instructions

Preparation: Existing paint and varnish should be removed with Rustins Strypit Paint & Varnish Stripper. Remove lichens, algae and moss with a brush, scraper and domestic bleach, then rinse thoroughly and allow to dry.
Application: Clean surfaces to be treated as above. Apply with a synthetic fibre brush, using the largest practicable for the job. Clean splashes whilst damp, with water. Clean brushes and hands immediately after use with water.
Coats: 2 coats recommended. The colour will deepen as more applications are made.
Drying Time: Touch dry 30 minutes depending on temperature, humidity and absorbency of the wood.
Re-coating Time: 2 hours.
Application Temp: Ideally 15-25°C. Do not apply below 10°C, or if rain expected.
Maintenance: Clean surfaces before re-coating.
Compatibility: Timberlife can be over-coated with the Rustins paints and varnishes. Timberlife can be applied over other fence and shed treatments and weathered creosote.
Settlement: STIR WELL BEFORE USE.
Clean-Up: With water whilst still wet. If dried-on, clean brushes with Rustins Brush Restorer.
