HGTile Cement Grout and Mortar Remover cleans off stubborn cement film, mortar residues and white salt deposits (efflorescence) from ceramic and porcelain tiles, flagstones, terracotta, quarry tiles, victorian tiles, brick, concrete and any other non-calcareous (acid resistant) natural stone such as Norwegian Slate and some types of Granite.

HG Tile Cement Grout and Mortar Remover cleans off stubborn cement film, mortar residues and white salt deposits (efflorescence) from ceramic and porcelain tiles, flagstones, terracotta, quarry tiles, victorian tiles, brick, concrete and any other non-calcareous (acid resistant) natural stone such as Norwegian Slate and some types of Granite. It's especially suitable for porous and rough textured floors and walls.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT apply HG Tile Cement Grout and Mortar Remover to calciferous natural stone such as marble, travertine, blue (hard)stone, several types of (non-acid resistant) slate, terrazzo, granito, basaslt and cement tiles. Use HG Natural Stone Cement and Lime Film Remover. If in doubt test on an inconspicuous area first or use HG Hagesan Natural Stone Cement Grout Film Remover.

When using this product we recommend using Eye Protection and an Odour Respirator (for poorly vented areas) as well as protective gloves.

It is recommended to use HG Hagesan Tile Cleaner on floors when cleaning for the first time to remove the very last remains of cement after using HG Tile Cement Grout and Mortar Remover.

Coverage: 1 litre is enough for a surface area of approx. 20 to 40 m². 


HG Tile Cement Grout and Mortar Remover Product Information:

Characteristics: Highly concentrated cleaning agent
Density: ± 1.07 g/ml
pH: < 1.0
Components: Hydrochloric Acid, Tensides, Solvents and Water.

Precautions: R34 - Causes burns. R37 - Irritating to respiratory system. S1/2 - Keep locked up and out of the reach of children. S25 - Avoid contact with eyes. S26 - In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. S36/37/39 - Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and Eye ProtectionS45 - In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible). S64 -If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). 

Caution: Do not use HG Tile Cement Grout and Mortar Remover in combination with other products, hazardous gasses (chlorine) could be released.

Directions for use: 
*Efflorescence is caused by soluble salts in building materials, or soluble salts transferred into building materials by water, being drawn towards a drying surface by the movement of water. At the surface of the building material the water responsible for the transportation of the salts evaporates leaving behind the salts as a surface deposit. 

Dilution: Depending on the degree of residues dilute HG Tile Cement Grout and Mortar Remover from 1:4 to 1:10 with water.

Directions for use: Try HG Tile Cement Grout and Mortar Remover on a small inconspicuous area first. Wet the surface down with clean water before using. Then apply and spread the diluted HG Tile Cement Grout and Mortar Remover with a scrubbing brush or pad. 

Leave to work for a couple of minutes. Scrub thoroughly till clean then rinse off with plenty of water. Repeat treatment with HG Tile Cement Grout and Mortar Remover if necessary.
