Shipping and Handling

PLEASE NOTE: All our Shipping Charges are inclusive of VAT.

Standard Delivery - Orders less than 2kg will be charged at a price based on weight for delivery via Royal Mail. Orders over 2kg are despatched via UK Mail / DHL, DPD or DX Secure and charged at a flat rate of between £4.95 - £6.95 (depending on weight and size) including VAT. There is no minimum order value and delivery will be FREE on all orders with a retail value of over £75* (including VAT but not including any delivery charge).

*FREE delivery is NOT available on orders outside of mainland UK and some parts of the Highlands of Scotland.

Restricted Deliveries:

The following is a list of postcodes to which restrictions may apply - HS, IV, KA27 - KA28, KW, PA20 - PA49, PA60 - PA78, PH17 - PH26, PH30 - PH44, PH49 - PH50, ZE, BT, IM, TR21 - TR25, GY, JE

The above postcode areas, while part of the UK, are classified as Highlands and Islands, and will be subject to additional postage costs where Royal Mail cannot be used. The option to select the correct mail zone is available in the checkout and in the event an order is received for any of the above postcode areas and the incorrect postal zone is selected, we will contact you either by e-mail or telephone to let you know there is an issue with the order which will require additional postage costs by reason of restriction due to safety concerns in carriage or distance.

European Deliveries:

All EU orders are sent on a by Road Tracked Courier delivery service. We do NOT use Royal Mail Airmail. From Jan 1st 2021 as a result of The UK leaving the EU Free Trade Zone European orders maybe subject to cancellation depending on the final outcome of Transition.

Delivery Schedule:

Delivery of your products should be made within 2-5 working days of the dispatch date confirmed in the email confirmation. If an item is out of stock you will be notified and given the option to hold the order till the item is in or you will be able to cancel the item with a full refund of that product.

You will receive e-mail confirmation when your order has been despatched. If the item is via Royal Mail please look out for the package as it may be too big to fit through a letterbox and may need to be collected from your local Post Office or Royal Mail Depot.

Please use the DPD or UK Mail tracking service or contact your local Post Office or Sorting Office prior to contacting Homecare Essentials about the non-delivery on your order.

We occasionally use a delivery option known as "Insight", this is where we will utilise Whistl couriers to transport your order by road to your local area where the package would be handed over to Royal Mail for the final "to the door" delivery. When this occurs, you will receive a tracking number for the Whistl portion of the journey which will culminate at the local area Royal Mail delivery depot for your postcode. The tracking will then be updated to reflect Royal Mails acceptance of the package and will read as " With Royal Mail for delivery".

Order Not Received:

Non-Delivery of items must be reported to us no later than 14 days of the expected delivery date. All online orders are e-mailed a despatch confirmation to the e-mail address given when the order was placed and all phone orders will be given an indication of expected delivery date when placing the order.

Failure to notify us of a non-receipt of order within 14 days of the expected delivery date may result in any claim being invalid.
