Doff Weedout Extra Tough Weedkiller Concentrate Instructions

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE: Avoid all other spray contact with cultivated plants. If cultivated plants are treated by mistake, IMMEDIATELY wash off the weedkiller with ample water. Extreme care should be taken to avoid spray drift or spray landing onto lawns and other desired plants as this may damage or kill them. DO NOT USE ON LAWNS, DO NOT USE UNDER GLASS OR POLYTHENE. To avoid possible transfer to lawns or green areas, do not walk on treated areas until spray has dried.

When to use: Apply when the weeds are actively growing and the leaves are fully developed. This can occur at any time from spring to autumn with the optimum time from June to September. Apply at least 8 hours, peferably 24 hours before rainfall for satisfactory results. Do not spray in windy weather. Some tough weeds need a repeat treatment after 3-4 weeks if re-growth appears. Ensure spraying takes place only when weeds are actively growing (normally March-October), and is confined only to visible weeds including those in a 30cm swathe covering the kerb edge and gulley. Do Not overspray drains.

Where to use: Wherever unwanted weeds are to be controlled, including hard surfaces e.g. patios and drives.

How to use:
Dosage: Maximum individual dose as a spray: 2.4ml product per m².

Garden Sprayer:
Add 100ml of product to each litre of clean water and agitate after closing, spray the entire weed especially the leaves when they are dry but avoid excess run-off. Each diluted solution will treat 40m². When applying, spray must be directed away from non target plants.

Watering Can: Add 60ml of product to 5 litres of clean water in a non-metallic watering can and stir the solution. Apply evenly over the entire plant especially the leaves when they are dry but avoid excess run off. Each 5 litres of solution treats 25m².

Mixing: Part-fill the sprayer or watering can with clean water. Add the required amount of product followed by further water to make up the full volume.
Stir the solution if applying by watering can or agitate the sprayer after closing. Use immediately.

Cut trees and stumps (including ivy)
When to use:
Treat immediately after cutting the tree or bush ideally fropm November to March. Do not apply when the sap is rising during the Spring/early Summer as control may be poor. A period of at least 8 hours, preferably 24 hours, free of rain is required after application for satisfactory results. If necessary the stump may be covered after applicatiokn to protect from rainfall.

Where to use: Wherever cut trees and stumps are to be controlled.

How to Use: Dosage: Maximum individual dose as a spray: 2.4ml product per m².  Add 80ml of product to 20ml of clean water in a non-metallic container and using a clean paint brush, liberally cover the cut part of the stump especially around the edges to saturation with the prepared solution. 100ml of prepared solution is sufficient to treat 4 cut stumps of 10-15 cm in diameter.

Future planting
:  Doff Weedout has no residual activity in the soil. Planting may take place after the treated vegetation has died back.
