Vtech Threadlocker Blue Medium Strength VT-843 is a blue color, all purpose, medium strength threadlocker formulated for locking and sealing of threaded fasteners which require normal disassembly with standard hand tools. It cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces.
It locks bolts and nuts up to 20mm diameter, preventing loosening due to vibration, and sealing against leakage and corrosion. It can work on lightly oiled surface and is chemical resistant, resisting fuels, lubricants and most industrial liquid and gases.

Vtech Threadlocker Blue Medium Strength Usage Instructions
Application:
Replaces lock washers and plastic insert. Locks machine tool access bolts, nuts and hydraulic system bolts.
used on gear box bolts / driveshaft, bearing cover cap screws, counter sunk screws, conveyor roller bolts.
It is also ideal for bolts on valve and cam covers, oil pans, disc brake calipers, intakes, alternators and pulley assemblies.
Directions For Use:
- The surface should be free from oil, dirt, rust and other contaminants.
- Shake the product thoroughly before use.
- For through hole assembly, apply several drops of the product onto the bolt and the nut at the nut engagement turn.
- For blind hole assembly, apply the product into the bottom of the hole. Installation of the fastener will displace the air and force the adhesive into the threads.
- For sealing applications, apply a 360o bead to the leading threads of the male fitting, leaving the first thread free. Force the material into the threads to thoroughly fill the voids.
- For disassembly, remove with standard hand tools, or apply localised heat to the nut or bolt to approximately 250oC and disassemble while hot.
