Everbuild Purimachos Heat Resistant Silicone Black C3 Cartridge 300ml

Everbuild Purimachos Heat Resistant Silicone is a high temperature resistant silicone , heat stable up to 300°C. Everbuild Heat Resistant Silicone is a high modular sealant which provides permanent flexibility. It is fast cure (tack free in one hour). Everbuild Silicone Sealant gives excellent adhesion to most non-porous surfaces.

Areas of Use: For joints and assemblies which must be resistant to high temperatures in ducting, metal chimneys, industrial/domestic ovens, heating appliances.

Everbuild Purimachos Heat Resistant Silicone Black Usage Instructions

Application: All surfaces to be sealed must be sound, dry and clean.
1. Cut the tip off the cartridge, taking care not to damage the thread.
2. Apply nozzle and cut cleanly at an angle of 45° with an openeing slightly larger than the gap to be sealed.
3. Apply using a standard sealant gun. Best results will be obtained by keeping an even pressure on the gun trigger and keeping the gun at a constant angle to the surfaces to be sealed.
4. To ensure a proper bond, always smooth down the sealant with a spatula or piece of wood wetted with soap and water solution.
5. Tool down within 15 minutes of application.

An improved appearance can be achieved by applying masking tape to both sides of the joint, removing within 5 minutes of application.
