Rustins Quick Dry Outdoor Wood Stain Mahogany 250ml
Rustins Exterior Wood Stain Mahogany is quick drying, very durable. Gives long lasting protection to all external wood.
Intended Use: Exterior joinery both hard and softwood, doors, windows, garden furniture, conservatories. May also be used as a sealer for concrete.
Type: Coloured water-based acrylic varnish. Gives long lasting protection to all external wood, allowing the natural grain to show through.Special Features: Low odour, resists cracking, peeling, blistering.
Coverage 12-15m² per Litre per coat, depending on absorbency of surface.
Colour: Mahogany - Also available in Dark Oak, Ebony, Light Oak, Medium Oak, Teak and Walnut

Application Using a synthetic brush, apply liberally with a full brush finishing with the grain. The first coat may be diluted with water on hot days (up to 15%). Do not apply to hot surfaces or in strong sunlight if possible or if rain is likely.
Coats Apply 3 coats and lightly sand after 1st coat if there is raising of the grain..Drying Time Touch dry 30 minutes. (On hot days may be touch dry within 10 minutes).Re-coating Time 4 hours minimum, depending on temperature and humidity.
Application Temp. Ideally 15-25°C. Do not apply below 10°C, or in high humidity or if rain expected.
Maintenance Re-coat every 2 to 3 years. Clean with a mild detergent solution and lightly sand to provide key.
Compatibility May be applied over old existing coating if these are in good condition and rubbed down to provide a key. Coatings not in good condition should be removed with Rustins Strypit Paint and Varnish Stripper. If applying over wood preservatives test on a small area to ensure the varnish dries and adheres well.
Settlement STIR WELL BEFORE USE. May dry glossy if not adequately stirred.
Clean-Up With water whilst still wet. If dried-on, clean equipment & brushes with Rustins Brush Restorer
