Rustins Woodworm Killer 250ml

Rustins Woodworm Killer is a preventative treatment against wood boring beetles and termites. Also for curative treatment against wood boring beetles. Authorisation is granted for use class 1 which the wood-based product is under cover and not exposed to weather and wetting. Effective against a wide range of wood boring insects including all life stages of wood boring insects (i.e. Woodworm). It has virtually no odour and can be applied by brush or low pressure spray to provide lasting protection. The formula is water based.

Rustins Woodworm Killer Usage Instructions

Preparation: Ensure that timber surfaces are clean and free from previous coatings, grease and contaminants. Surfaces may be damp but Rustins Woodworm Killer should not be applied to decayed wood which should be replaced.
Application: Shake well before use. Apply by brush or low pressure spray.
Coats: Apply 2 coats for optimum effectiveness.
Drying Time: Between 10 – 15 minutes depending on temperature and humidity.
Re-coating Time: It is important that the second application is applied before the first is dry.
Application Temp: Ideally 15 – 25°C. Do not apply below 10°C
Maintenance: Re-apply approximately once every 5 years.
Compatibility: Not compatible with previous coatings, grease and contaminants.
Settlement: Shake well before use.

Application:  Apply by brush or low pressure spray.
For a preventative use: Apply at a reate of 200ml / m². (1 Litre per 5 m²)
For Curative use: Apply at a rate of 300ml / m². (1 Litre per 3.3m²)
Product should only require applying once every 5 years if necessary to timbers.

Do not use on wood which may come into contact with food, feeding stuffs and livestock animals.
Do not contaminate foodstuff, eating utensils or food contact surfaces.

Shelf-life/Storage: Store in a cool dry place with the lid tightly closed. Use within 2 years of manufacture.
Hazards: Contains Permethrin 2.5g/L [52645-53-1], 1-2-Benzisothiazol–2(3H)-one [2634-33-5], Alcohols (C9-11), Ethoxylated [68439-3] Very toxic to aquatic organisms with long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Keep out of reach of children and pets. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. Wear protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.
