Rustins Decorators Varnish for Use Dead Flat is a low solids water-based acrylic protective coating with high UV resistance for use on emulsion paint, wallpaper, plasterwork and other surfaces to protect against finger marks, stains, scuffing and colour fading. Water, stain and abrasion resistant. Fast drying. Suitable for interior and exterior use.
Coverage: 1 litre will cover approximately 15-20m² in 1 coat depending on the absorbency of the surface.

Rustins Decorators Varnish for Interior/Exterior Use Dead Flat Usage Instructions
Preparation: The surface must be clean and free from dust, dirt, oil and contamination.
Application: Apply thin coats using a synthetic varnish brush. Dilute first coat with 10% water if to be used over porous surfaces. Ideally, apply between 15 – 25°C. Avoid damp/high humidity conditions. Do not apply to hot surfaces or in strong
sunlight if possible or if rain is likely. Three coats are recommended for high durability. Always test for compatibility before covering the whole area.
Re-coating Time: Further coats can be applied once the previous coat is dry. This will be approximately 1 hour depending on the temperature and humidity at the time of application.
Cleaning: Remove as much product as possible and return to this container. Brushes should then be cleaned immediately with water. If the brushes become hard, they may be cleaned with Rustins Brush Restorer or Rustins Cellulose Thinners.
Disposal (pollution prevention): Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste paints/varnishes /coatings. Do not empty the product into drains or watercourses.
Storage: Store in a cool dry place with the lid tightly closed. Protect from frost.
