Rustins Rust Converter Contains Graphene Aerosol 400ml
Rustins Rust Converter is a water based treatment which neutralises rust. It stabilises the surface and forms a protective coating once dry.
Rustins Rust Converter Contains Graphene Aerosol 400ml:
Rustins Rust Converter is an easy and effective way to treat rust. The epoxy-based formulation will quickly convert rust stabilising the surface and forming a protective coating once dry. It forms a barrier against water vapour, oxygen and carbon dioxide as well as resisting salt spray and bacterial growth.
Rustins Rust Converter Contains Graphene Aerosol Usage Instructions:
Preparation: The surface must be clean, dry and free from oil or grease. Remove old paint, and loose rust with steel wool or wire brush. If paint is difficult to remove use Rustins Strypit Paint and Varnish Stripper.
Application: Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. If using outside, avoid spraying if it is very windy or in dusty conditions. For best results, lightly agitate the area to be coated using steel wool. Shake the can vigorously for approximately one minute from when the mixing balls start to rattle. Continue shaking during use. Hold the can upright approximately twelve inches from the item spraying in a back-and-forth motion being careful not to flood. Apply 2 or more light coats to avoid runs leaving 15 minutes between coats.
Re-coating Time: The surface will be touch dry after 15 minutes and can be handled after 1-2 hours. Allow longer during cooler temperatures. Re-coat after 15 minutes.
Coverage: 1 Litre will cover approximately 10 sq. m in 1 coat depending on the absorbency of the surface.
Cleaning: When finished spraying, turn the can upside down and spray to prevent clogging the nozzle. If the spray nozzle clogs, remove and clean using Rustins Xylene Thinners.
